Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology
The Vice-Chancellor for Research establishes the university’s research policies, promoting research internally while laying the foundation for and overseeing projects with outside scholars and institutes.
Among the responsibilities of the Vice-Chancellor for Research are:
- acquiring funds, resources, instruments and equipment for research and scientific projects
- promoting research and technological achievements
- improving information technology
- upgrading and expanding laboratories and workshops
- assisting the International Scientific Relations Division in strengthening and expanding international affairs
- expanding domestic research collaborations with other institutions
- overseeing the compilation and translation of books
- hosting national and international conferences
- facilitating the enrolment process and attendance of faculty members in conferences, assemblies and symposia, both national and international
- managing and publishing scientific content
