Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology

The Vice-Chancellor for Research establishes the university’s research policies, promoting research internally while laying the foundation for and overseeing projects with outside scholars and institutes.

Among the responsibilities of the Vice-Chancellor for Research are:

  • acquiring funds, resources, instruments and equipment for research and scientific projects
  • promoting research and technological achievements
  • improving information technology
  • upgrading and expanding laboratories and workshops
  • assisting the  International Scientific Relations Division in strengthening and expanding international affairs
  • expanding domestic research collaborations with other institutions
  • overseeing the compilation and translation of books
  • hosting national and international conferences
  • facilitating the enrolment process and attendance of faculty members in conferences, assemblies and symposia, both national and international
  • managing and publishing scientific content
